The summer is basically here and its about the perfect time to consider buying a nice new pair of Sandals to go with your summery attire. Birkenstock Mayari are a great choice. As you may know, Birkenstock are one of the top brands when it comes to women's sandals. They are very well made, comfortable, and won't leave a huge dent in your spending budget.
Birkenstock Mayari have a classic twin buckle design, but also have a toe loop to give them that little bit of extra style and secure fitting. Some women find the toe loop uncomfortable, while others love it. If you are one of the people who finds it irritating, perhaps a pair of Papillio Pisa would suit you better.
The footbed on the Mayari is made from Cork, which has good flexibility and has some bounce. Which is one of the reasons why these sandals are so comfortable to wear for long durations. The sole has an excellent, fairly deep lugged grip for a sandal. These are not your average pair of "Flip Flops".
They are much better made than that. As you will experience first hand that you have owned a pair for a while and they haven't fell apart!. The most popular colours are Black and Mocca Nubuk (Pictured).
Lots of other colours are available: White, Pink, Silver and various shades of Black. There are two different width fittings to choose from: Regular and Narrow. If you have wider feet you would most probably want to get a pair of the regular.
Also bear in mind, the Mayari come fairly big in size. Although Birkenstocks are made to be spacious, some women have expressed the need to go for a full size smaller than what they usually wear and have stated that it was the right choice in order to achieve an optimum fit.
